Analyzing the Need

The heart of AEI is its technical staff, which has more than 125 years of combined experience in the sophisticated field of microchip-controlled facilities management systems.  Our core of engineers is unrivaled in both quantity and quality in our geographic market area.  This experience and expertise allows us to thoroughly analyze and appraise the requirements of each client, whether for a new or an existing facility.   Top

Meeting the Need

Our specialization is customizing control panels for different areas of buildings or complexes to meet the uniquely different requirements of the facilities.  These needs include furnishing and implementing complete facilities management systems, i.e., comfort control, security, lighting and life safety for projects ranging from traditional commercial and industrial facilities to highly sophisticated facilities, such as toxic laboratories and clean-room manufacturing area that require maximum environmental consciousness.   Top

Custom Designing

AEI is unique because we not only use the established products of leading manufacturers that have become standards in the control industry, but we also have the capability to custom manufacture anything we need, when necessary, from one-of-a-kind to a full production run.  We are so innovative in meeting the sophisticated needs of clients that many custom products we devise are original and have never been used before.  To determine their feasibility when design work is completed, we build an in-house scale mock-up to completely test the theories and principles involved to assure the most successful solution.   Top

Training the Customer

We provide complete training for facilities management owners and users, including the use of specialized software to program their control systems to satisfy their particular needs.  This hands-on instruction is usually given in our well-equipped training laboratory, which allows simulation of actual control systems and solutions to potential problems.   Top

The Economy Factor

A custom-designed microchip-controlled facilities management system actually saves money because it (1) requires minimum personnel to function, (2) can be monitored and maintained from a remote point, (3) provides different control levels from zone to zone to meet different needs in the same facility, and (4) conserves energy by maintaining proper comfort levels, which also improves employee performance and customer satisfaction.  In all, a quality microchip controlled facilities management system is a good investment in commercial and industrial property.   Top

Design Expertise

Because of the outstanding reputation of AEI in its market area, we have furnished and installed more than twice as many microprocessor temperature controls in Class A high rise office buildings in the mountain West than all of our competitors combined.  This same expertise has been used in a variety of other facilities in Utah, Idaho and environs, ranging from single structures to complex campus of major universities, as well as many facilities used for highly sophisticated and environmentally sensitive manufacturing.   Top

Connectability

Among the more sophisticated microchip-controlled facilities management systems designed and installed by AEI are those which have leading edge modem-to-modem, Ethernet, and Internet accessibility.  This allows routine remote monitoring by our technicians to assure maximum performance at all times.  Modem-to-modem and Ethernet interfacing also permits automatic notification of any deviant readings or other system problems to the remote monitoring station as soon as they occur, assuring immediate attention.  Most problems can be diagnosed without having to make on-site inspection and often corrections can be made by reprogramming throughout the use of the modem.   Top
