Atkinson Electronics, Inc. (AEI) was founded in 1976 by Gaylen V. Atkinson as one of the first custom interface manufactures.
In 1976 AEI focused on custom interface boards for solar instrumentation and control. In 1980 AEI expanded it's focus to include HVAC controls and became a control systems distributor. Increased emphasis was given to manufacturing and sales of electronic interface boards in 1984. The same year, our first product catalog was developed and mailed to control contractors around the country. The construction of our Murray, UT facility, which quadrupled manufacturing, engineering and office space, was completed in 1991.
As both an HVAC control systems distributor and an electronic interface manufacturer, AEI has provided unique solutions for the electronic interface problems in the HVAC industry.
